We dig the Dodge Charger Dayton
The original Dodge Charger Daytona was one of the most iconic domestic cars on the market in 1969. Dodge just announced that, yet again, the Daytona is back!
We all know that Dodge does performance best. Though they are forced to switch to electric powertrains in an evolving market, Dodge continues to live up to its reputation. The Charger Daytona, for the first time, features All-Wheel-Drive, powered by two 335 Horsepower motors, making for a combined 670 hp and 627 Ib-ft of torque. For comparison, this electric powerhouse is only slightly outperformed by 2024's Charger Redeye at 807 hp. The Charger Daytona boasts a 0-60 mph time as low as 3.3 seconds, putting it in league with some of the fastest cars on the market, including the recent Redeye.
The new Daytona also includes a regenerative braking system, so you can extend your range for more smiles per... charge! The body design is certainly nothing to sneeze at, as it will come with the iconic front "R-Wing" on the front to minimize drag at high speeds with a brand new design.
Dodge isn’t just building cars; they’re crafting experiences. The Daytona represents the pinnacle of the Charger lineup, offering unmatched performance, iconic styling, and a nod to the future. The Dodge Charger Daytona is designed to deliver on every front. Car enthusiast everywhere are preparing to tame the newest beast in the Dodge lineup.
